Yashwant Dagar is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at CraftifAI, where he leads the company’s R&D across Edge AI, FPGA and IoT. With 10+ years of experience architecting and delivering production-grade embedded systems, he has contributed to applications spanning Industrial AI, Smart Cities, Robotics, and

consumer products.

At CraftifAI, Yashwant drives the development of a GenAI powered automation stack for embedded and edge systems, focused on generating hardware-aware code and system-level software for heterogeneous compute platforms including FPGAs, adaptive SoCs, ML accelerators/SOCs , and IoT devices.

He also oversees end-to-end solution engineering across Edge AI applications, IoT platforms, and Cloud-to-Edge integration.

Prior to founding CraftifAI, Yashwant held key R&D positions at Sima.ai and Xilinx.

He holds a Bachelor of Technology from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, has seven patents, and is based in Bangalore, India.
