Yahya Ömer Kaya is the team leader for high-frequency trading software development at Bull Technology, where he leads the engineering of ultra-low-latency systems for electronic markets. With over 13 years of programming experience spanning the defense industry and high-frequency trading, he specializes in performance-critical software across the full stack, from low-level embedded firmware to real-time desktop applications. In his current role, Yahya drives the development of efficient order management systems, high-speed drivers for low-latency network cards, and C++ interfaces for a range of market protocols, alongside analytics and benchmarking tools that support his team's quantitative research. Earlier in his career in the defense industry, he developed real-time guidance algorithms and low-level embedded systems. Yahya holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
