Title: "Development of an FPGA module for the modulation of high-speed Ethernet for digital broadcast measurement applications"

  • Implemented a complete network stack in an Intel PSG Stratix10 FPGA
  • Integrated IP cores and developed RTL modules for data de/modulation and control of the individual 10G Ethernet protocol layers: PHY, MAC, IP, UDP, RTP
  • Provided an interface to a PCIe DMA core to make the network interface available to a host PC
  • Used high-bandwidth oscilloscopes for analyzing eye diagrams to visualize the quality of signals
