Pavel Benáček is a P4 Product Architect and open-source enthusiast with over 13 years of experience in networking technologies across both research and industry. His work primarily focuses on hardware/software co-design and high-level synthesis.

He earned his Ph.D. from the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he developed theoretical foundations for mapping the P4 language to high-throughput RTL architecture suitable for FPGA synthesis. This work was recognized as an excellent research result by an expert panel and was subsequently acquired by an international semiconductor company as the basis for a commercial product.
