Dr. Michael Gude is founder and CEO of Cologne Chip AG, a well-known fabless chip manufacturer.

He received a diploma degree and a doctor degree (PhD) in electrical engineering from RWTH Aachen University. Cologne Chip is known for their telecommunication chips and since 2020 for the GateMate FPGA family. This is the only commercial FPGA developed and produced in Europe. Michael not only leads the company but also holds more than 30 patents for various circuit innovations.
