Marco Höfle lives with his family in Switzerland and works for Avnet Silica as an Embedded Specialist for AMD Xilinx SoCs. He supports customers across southern Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

His responsibilities include technical consulting, customer-specific training sessions, and hands-on support in complex FPGA and SoC development projects.

The “Big X” has been a consistent theme throughout his professional career — beginning with his diploma thesis, followed by technical support at Xilinx in Dublin, development management in an engineering office, and since May 2018, supporting customers at Avnet Silica in the field of Xilinx-based embedded systems.
