I’m Elijah Almeida Coimbra, a Medior FPGA Engineer at TOPIC Embedded Systems in the Netherlands.

With about two years of industry experience and a bachelor’s in software engineering, I’ve built a solid

base in system programming and embedded systems. Exposure to FPGAs during my minor and

internships set my career direction. In my free time, I love experimenting with anything that deepens my

understanding of how systems really work. I’ve dabbled in language design and parsing, hardware design

and soldering, and continuously moving down the software stack into assembly and HDL.
