Derek Hagen joined AMD in 2018 and has since been engaged in training and enabling customers with AMD Versal™ AI Engine technology. Before joining AMD, Derek worked with ASIC and FPGA designs used in Wireless Communication front-end signal processing and biometric fingerprint sensors. He is currently a member of the AIE Core Software Applications Engineering team in the AI Group, specializing in AMD Vitis™ tool flows and methodologies.
