Dr. George Athanasiou

CAST

Dr. George Athanasiou is a Product Manager for the Security Product Line at CAST. He has more than 16

years of experience in IC architectures and information security. He holds a PhD (2013) in the field of

Hardware Architectures and VLSI Implementations for Cryptographic Embedded Systems and Security

Applications from the ECE Dept., University of Patras, Greece, and a Dipl.-Ing. (2008), Summa Cum Laude,

in ECE from the Technical University of Crete, Greece. His research contributions have been featured in

international journals, books, and conferences, while he also actively contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for leading international journals and conferences.
