Lecture Description:
Many customers are facing the need for connecting camera/sensor applications with state-of-the-art visualization and software interfaces like available with ROS for system integration. Nowadays SoC and MPSoC architectures have many chances to bridge the gaps between SW and HW development if they can connect those two worlds. This talk gives an introduction into ROS (www.ros.org) and shows with a usage example the integration into a camera-design based on a FPGA MPSoC.
